Anwar Boulifa is an award winning filmmaker and published poet. “A Short Guide to Re-Entry” was his first foray into drama and it went on to win both the Bill Douglas Award and the Audience Award at Glasgow Short Film Festival 2016.
From a documentary background, he has worked for a number of broadcasters including Channel 4 and the BBC. His aesthetic is informed by a neo-realist approach that utilizes improvisation techniques to create dynamic performances from the cast.
